Immunization and Wellness Care
We strive to prevent illness in you pets whenever possible. Our wellness protocols have been developed to promote a long, healthy, happy life in your pets. Vaccinations and other health procedures help protect owners and children from diseases and parasites that can be transferred from pets. Your pet can also be assessed for overall wellbeing, internal parasite exams, heartworms, tick-borne disease, external parasites, and other physical problems
Pets can be evaluated for acute and chronic internal medical diseases. We have in-house blood analyzers for diagnostic purposes.
We offer advanced surgical procedures. Patients are carefully screened for safety, adn anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Experienced veterinarians and technical monitoring staff ensure the safest procedure possible by monitoring ECG, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure. Preanesthetic bloodwork is recommended for all patients. Patients are monitored closely after surgery and ensured to have adequate pain control.
State-of-the-art digital radography (X-rays) help our veterinarians evaluate musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and urinary systems as well as many other problems within the body.
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pets’ teeth. Our doctors and techs employ modern and safe ultrasonic equipment to aid in the cleaning of each tooth – above and below the gum line. The teeth are then polished to create a smooth, lustrous surface that is more resistant to plaque buildup.
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.
Laser therapy, or “photobiomodulation,” is the use of specific wavelengths of light to create therapeutic effects. These effects include decreased healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. Laser therapy can help with osteoarthritis, joint pain, ligament sprains, muscle strains, puncture wounds, post surgical pain and much more.
